Step 1
Place 4 numbered markers (1, 2, 3, 4) at the corners of your space, then take a photo from as close to directly overhead as you can.
This is an estimate. Accuracy depends on taking the photo as close to directly overhead as possible over a flat surface — angled photos will be less accurate. Heel-to-toe steps use an average shoe length (0.85 ft) and vary by person — a tape measure will always be more precise.
